La Flûte Harmonique (Grades 5-8+)
 "La Flûte Harmonique" was founded in 2004 by Russell Gillespie to encourage flautists over the age of 21 to gain experience in ensemble playing.  It is the first of its kind to be run in Cheshire and is a voluntary, non-profit making ensemble dedicated to the musical enrichment of the area and its surrounding communities.
A flute choir is a musical ensemble composed entirely of flutes. The ensemble includes piccolos, concert flutes, alto and bass flutes. All the members are at least Grade 5 standard and come from many career backgrounds and locations.
Potential new members are most welcome to come and listen or even join in, with a view to permanent membership subject to there being an appropriate vacancy. A variety of musical styles ranging from Baroque to Contemporary are included in the repertoire and concerts of "La Flûte Harmonique".

Under the umbrella of "La Flûte Harmonique", opportunities arise for a wide variety of ensemble playing, resulting in members independently forming their own duos, quartets etc. For both Adult flute choirs there is an initial trial period of three months to determine mutual suitability.
